Hindenburg: The Last Flight
The Hindenburg was the largest passenger airship ever built. The massive zeppelin carried up to 70 passengers in first-class comfort, and completed seventeen successful Atlantic crossings in its first year. But the Hindenburg achieved unfortunate immortality when it exploded, crashed and burned in less than a minute while attempting to land in May 1937. The ultimate cause of the catastrophe was never discovered. The award-winning Hindenburg: The Last Flight uses detailed reconstructions of the airship as the setting for an exciting tale of romance, murder, political intrigue and sabotage. And no expense was spared in re-creating the fiery end of the airship - a fitting climax to the multiple story strands of this dramatic miniseries.
